Saahas Saathi is a consulting initiative of Saahas Foundation that works towards identifying and strengthening grassroot organisations predominantly working towards inclusive livelihood amongst various communities in Uttarakhand.
It focuses on NGOs that are committed to their work and have immense potential to contribute in people’s welfare.
However, it has been observed that many of these NGOs, in rural and semi-urban areas, face significant challenges that limits their well-deserved success. There could be various reasons for this, but the most visible indicators seem to be poor access to information and communications technology (ICT), and a lack of best practices for effective governance and administration.
Saahas Saathi is an effort towards addressing these key barriers through community-centric interventions and seeks to help by showing the way towards market linkages and social entrepreneurship.
