‘Saahas’ participated in the National Handloom Expo 2018, Dehradun organised by the Uttarakhand Handloom & Handicraft Development Council. The participation showcased the products made by the persons with special needs and exhibit the capability of achieving if empowered with the right skills, tools and avenues that enables one to excel in the desired ventures.
At National Handloom Expo 2018 more than 100 stalls from 16 states demonstrated their craftsmanship, captivating the interests of buyers seeking good quality handmade products at competitive prices over the regular market that consists of machine outputs.
Team Saahas brought a variety of handmade, recycled paper products together under one roof with ‘Himadri’, an exquisite craftsmanship collection of the state’s master artisans in Handloom and Handicraft articles.
